Resistive Coating of Ceramics

Elcon is a leader in resistive coatings for ceramics. The base coating material is TiCr; the coating resistance can be adjusted over a broad range from megaohms to teraohms to suit the customer's requirements.

Applications include high voltage ceramic tubes where controlled charge dissipation is needed. The applications are generally for photon machines, neutron generators, other linacs, x-ray tubes and klystrons.


PLATING:
For customers that require plating, Elcon offers a full plating line that strictly adheres to Military Standard Specifications, Gold (MIL-G-45204), Nickel (AMS-QQ-N-290) and Silver (QQ-S-365D).
